Hello all,

Not only am I a new guy to the group, I am also a new to pen turning. I have been tinkering with various wood working projects over the years. I am a Jack of All Trades and by no means Master of None. I turned a WoodCraft Premier Cigar Pen kit ythe other day and really enjoyed doing so.

When I was there in 1949 it was called Camp Gordon.

Welcome from SE TN. Now you will be selling the family silverware to buy turning tools.
Spent a vacation in Augusta three years ago. Hotter than the hinges of Hades that week. Heat index over 100. Rode the canal boat and they cancelled the afternoon cruise because of the heat. We were going to Savannah but went back up to the mountains instead. We would like to go back as some of the things were only open on weekends. The trip down and back to TN were on the back roads. One of the best vacations! I recommend it!
