Andy Coyle here.

I have been turning three years. I am a computer consultant by day.

I make pens and other wood stuff that I sell at craft shows weekends with my wife who is a soaper.

My goal is to extricate myself from the computer business and semi retire making wood.

My passion is to learn. While I like all my wood projects, oens just seem to have a bigger creative outlet.

Hi Andy and welcome.
You have come to the right place to learn.
Just make a point of visiting this site daily, and the knowledge and ideas will flow.

Thank you all.

I have already learned a bunch, so I know you are right.

I made my first post about a problem I am having and got great suggestions right a way.

Thank you all again.

In looking around, I feel like someone has just opened a door to a whole world that I did no know existed.

While I have been turning pens for a while (3 years, short by some measure LOL) I had no idea that the art was this vast. So many media that I had never seen used and so many techniques.
