Hi from the getting warm Southwest!
I have a good chunk of woodworking experience, I make wooden martial arts weapons, Tonfa, Bo staff, Eiku and Nunchaku. I have made some pens/pencils, all from kits. I have recently started enjoying the world of fountain pens. I would like to learn to make some of my own, eventually doing a closed end design and from scratch.

Welcome from Texas! I would love to see some of the weapons you make! You can post them in the "Other things we make" subforum if you decide to show them. Again, welcome to this addiction!
 
Thanks for the warm welcomes! I am in Tucson, I have a website and facebook for my weapons, wasn't sure about the rules about posting those, but since you asked... The most current pics are on facebook under the name Still Water Weapons, and the website is the same with .com. I will post some photos in the "other stuff" forum.

If everything goes as planned, the wife and I will be heading to AZ (somewhere not too far away from Goodyear) in a couple years.
