After my seven year hiatus from pen making, I have been horrified to learn that many of the rollerball pen kits that I loved are no longer even available. At first, I was shocked, then I was struggling to find some that I like, now, I am still trying new ones. I did a Classic Elite 2 in gold from PSI today with Amboyna Burl and it turned out pretty well.
This is high on the list of new favorites but so is the Diamond Knurl from Exotic Blanks, and the Zen too. I will just have to keep trying new rollerball kits to see those that I prefer. I will say that it absolutely breaks my heart that you can no longer get the Gold "Faith, Hope, and Love" rollerball. It seems that it is still available in Pewter which is very nice too but the gold with Bethlehem Olive Wood was just an out of the park winner.
The "Footprints In The Sand" is nice but it is a twist pen which are not my favorites at all. Oh well, I was told that this is the way it is. Kits come, and kits go.
