Hi all!
My name is Aaron Logue. I started turning in my high school woodworking class, where my first project was a pen. I turned four throughout high school. Two went to a teacher and the other two were lost over time. Now, after about two years, I'm starting to pick up turning again. I turned ten pens over Christmas break after receiving a Rikon mini (more like midi, realistically) lathe for a joint Christmas/birthday gift.
Here are my creations so far-
And a shot-sized goblet
I'm currently attending Baylor University pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. As I cannot take my lathe on a plane, I've been unable to turn since the semester started. But I haven't forgotten about turning. Over the past few months I've made plans to make many pens, and have read many of the articles in the Library. I can't wait to get started again!
Regards,
AWLogue
