Had a really special family thing happen last night. Miscommunicated with my wife because of what went on (my fault). Realized this morning that 30 or so pens (most of my inventory) was left out in the car last night. It got down to around 10 degrees F here. Have them inside now. Left them in my work bag so they can come to room temperature slowly. Hoping none crack. I've never one crack from the cold, but I don't think I have let them get that cold for that long before. I'll let you know what happened in a few hours.

I've left one or 2 out in MUCH colder temps than that, and have not had a problem (yet...). Slow re-aclimation is a good idea...

I've left pens in the cold for weeks - not a problem. My problems were when I left them in a black portfolio in the car in summer.:crying:

Summer worse than winter. A LOT worse.

Yep, you should be ok but no guarantee. I've never lost one to the cold.

They look good! I was concerned more about the wood ones - and actually only had 2 wood ones in the box.

I have left pens out in the car with no problems.The only thing that has cracked was a shotgun shell key ring.
