I was due to have an endoscopic procedure in December but it has been brought forward to tomorrow. Wasn't feeling too bad about it earlier but i don't know how to feel now. If i said i am a little scared it would be an understatement.

Had it done on my back and it was pretty simple. I was a little sore, well pretty darn sore for about a week. The hardest part was the 3 months afterwards that the doctor didn't want me to do anything. I felt great but listened to the doctor.

Good news. My stomach is ok. I used to suffer badly from Gastritis and my GP thought it may be acid gas from my stomach causing the problems. That wasn't the case and wasn't the cause of my inflamed throat. Have to undergo a different test now to see what the problem could be.

I love getting endoscopy. Some of the best night night drugs ever.......... they won't let me take any home though

Don't even mind when I have to get a Colonoscopy.

Tell me about it. When i came around afterwards I was all over the place. I could have slept there all day lol

I had it several times too , never got knocked out, I got the banana flavoured spray to help numb my throat. Good luck my friend!

Thanks Mark. Yeah they told me it was banana flavoured, yuck, it was more scented that flavoured. They gave me the sedative and told me I'd start to feel drowsy. Ha. I was out like a light.
