Thank you all. I went and visited this afternoon. It was like talking to a 5yr. She would answered my questions in 1 or 2 words. Then look off into space to think of the next word. I got a couple short sentances from her-"what's wrong dad?" (I was balling like a little baby), "what's the date today?"

I hope that things work out for you and your family. I hope that the medical aspects are being explored, as well as the mental health aspects. I had a young patient with something similar and they discovered a tiny tumor upon MRI. Removed the benign tumor and she recovered in several months.
