Need some Ideas, got a cool piece of wood

A friend gave me this piece and I don't know what to do with it. He said it is redwood burl root wood. It is great looking wood up close.
Any Ideas??

I would probably start by cutting off one of those legs and slicing it into blanks from the thickest side. The left over natural edges I would cast a worthless wood blank. The rest I would set aside and look at everytime I enter the shop, pondering what to do... like I do with most of my wood. lol good luck!

Hit it with a little oil on that face.

You didn't mention the size, but it looks like it would make a great platter. Then a little turquoise inlaid in those cracks for contrast . . .
