Can you do me, and others too, a favor and post any information to this thread about using decals. I've been in contact with JIMM and he's given me some very good info but I always like to see what others do too. Thanks- Tom
 
I use Micro-Set and Micro-Sol to 'massage' the decal into the shape of the blank. Sometimes the spray lacquer used to seal the ink on the decal can make the decal a bit stiff. The Micro-Sett helps the decal to stick and the Micro-Sol helps relax the stiffness. You have to be careful with the Micro-Sol as it is a solvent and will if used too much ruin the deal but, if you have a barrel shaped blank that the decal wont quite lay flat on it helps.

I have even used peel and stick stickers as well as water slide decals. Takes a lot of coats of CA finish, though, because they are thicker than decals.
