Need opinions on section

I'm looking for some feedback on this one. Should I make a white section or a section made from the barrel material? What do you guys/gals think?

I personally don't like it with the white section.

I think the white section wouldn't go with the pen. I prefer the same color.

I am thinking this may well be just a personal preference issue, but in any case, I would favor either same color (red swirl), or black. I would not pick white. Just my 2 cents!

I think you should try a white because if you don't like it when done you can use it for the next pen. You can always make one from the barrel material later.

I think it would make an attractive match for the cap.

I ended up making a white section by default(broke 2 From the PR material). I also made a new cap from the barrel material.

I think the white would look better if you added a band of the other material. You could even add two bands of the other material with a band of white in between. The white is nice contrast but it doesn't match the other half of the pen.
It is just personal preference. If you like it; go with it.

Your second post of the matching cap and the white section is how I would have done it. I like the idea of opening the pen and being pleasantly surprised by a complementing section in a different material. Plus the pen looks better with the cap in the same material as the body. I'm not saying that you have to make it match all the time, but in this instance I think that was the best move.
