Need help with my Sierra

This weekend I completed my 1st 3 Sierra Pens and on my last one, when I assembled it, the twist mechanism is very tight.
Without the cap end on, it works beautifully, when I slide the cap end on, it works fine until the 2 ends meet then, it's so stiff it's hard to twist.
If I separate the 2 ends just 1/4 inch, it works good again.
Something is happening when it's pushed together.
What should I look for ?

The tube is not shorter by cahnce is it, sometimes it happens when we square the ends damhikt or something is not starigh and did you try it in the others you made could be a manufacturing issue on that kit.

Sounds like you got some glue or something in the tube where it slips over the twist mech.
Look in the tube and see if you can see anything within 1/4" of the open end of the cap.

Check for glue on the inside of the tube. That happens to me all the time.

Thanks for your response, I ran a gun cleaning brush thru the tube and all is well now !
