Hello, I am having problems gluing my brass barrels into clear blanks. When I do so, I get air bubbles. I have tried CA glue, as well as 2-part epoxy and neither work. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance!

I paint the inside of the blank to mask the glue. Depending on the transparency, i sometimes need to polish the inside hole to remove drilling scratches.
Love using lucite blanks and they usually go towards polishing and painting......
And the pant hides the tube too.

The only way I know to get clear castings without seeing bubbles is to clear cast ON the tube.
