Is there some way I can adapt a 3/8x24 drill chuck to 3/4x16 spindle or even the 3/8x16 stopper chuck from Arizona S. I'm trying to get away from using my tailstock to keep the mt1 drill chuck from popping out.

3/8 x 24? What type of lathe is this going on? a Taig? Sherline?

Typically, the drill chuck goes on the tailstock, so I'm not sure what
you're trying to do. Care to share any more details so we can give
advice that doesn't sound like it came out of our hindquarters?

Any Way -- yes -- but likely not off the shelf directly unless you have a 3/4 by 16 headstock.

The 3/8 by 24 NF threaded chucks are common on hand drills and are used on some of the micro lathes such at Taig.

Taig does sell a 3/4 by 16 (female) to 3/8 by 24 (male) headstock mount for the Taig headstock thread. They also sell a 3/8 smooth shaft to 3/8 by 24 which mounts in a collet chuck (Taig also has an ER16 headstock).

Many of the MT1 lathes use the 3/4 by 16 thread -- and if that is your case - parts are available.

Draw bar not possible in your lathe??? That is the conventional way to mount the MT taper firmly in place in a MT on the head stock.

(There are also 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 inch jacobs chucks that are directly threaded for 3/4 by 16 on the market).

Yes, 3/4 x 16 male on Harbor freight mini and Dunlap headstock spindle. No, can't use drawbar on mt1, But I did purchase an mt1 stopper chuck for draw bar use. But the threads are 3/8 -16 on the it.
I'm trying to go anyway that works from the 3/4 -16 spindle to a 3/8-24 drill chuck .
Maybe collet chuck might just be the best way. I'm not familiar with collets though.
