i need a call blank one that look's like this design...
something that look's like it's on fire.

this is not my call,but talked with the guy who gave me some lead's.
i'm useing it just to show you the pattern.
i have to do a call for a firefighter.an was gonna get a maltese cross lazer engraved on the side..

pennsylvania,need it 1.5 square or 1.5 round..by 3 1/4 inches long.
if not 3 inches long will do just fine.

it's 12:03 here go to work at 2:00 have break at 5:00 for ten min's.
1/2 hour lunch at 7:00.

Steve, I think Ed meant how soon do you need the material rather than your daily schedule. I know Ed is hard to understand since he is a Cheesehead, but I have him pretty well figured out. ;)

Sorry, I was out working for quite a while this morning.

I will look to see what size the sample was tonight.
 
Ed - No immediate timeline for me - but If you mixing something up that looks that 'flame-like', put my name in the hat... I may be in for a couple pen-blanks worth. Someone just asked me about a 'fire pen' - and thats the closest thing I've seen yet.

Goose,

Good to see that you made it over here. Maybe some of these guys will have better luck that I have. Guys, this blank was shown on another forum and was said to be cast by "cozee" out of PR. I am not sure if it is our same cozee from this site or not. I have tried to make something similar for goose with alumiilite since it is a better candidate for game calls, but I am not having any luck due to the resin being thinner and the colors running together.
 
No, the one I have is a much more "regular" pattern. And it is not large enough to make a duck call, it will barely make a pen.

Sorry. Cozee used to sell HIS stuff - PM sent to you.
 
I was thinking that looked like a one of Greg's CGR(Cozee-Go-Round)blanks. He doesn't post here anymore. He is active on the other penturning website. (not saying anymore for fear of being smote by the MODs)

You'll find cozee over at The Pen Shop: http://www.thepenshop.net Smote away. I really don't understand the thinking of not mentioning the other pen forum names. We are here to share info and sometimes that means guiding someone to another forum to obtain that info.

an all though i don't know you personally.
it's great to know that some will help a fellow turner out from time to time.

Not intending to "steal" anything from Greg/Cozee .. but I did cast some fire-inspired blanks the other night, and if I can find my 10mm drill bit, I will have a Cigar made from it this weekend .. that, or it will be a Sierra, since I "can" find that drill bit, haha
