Among some other interesting stuff, I got a batch of teak from a very senior fella who worked at the Philadelphia Ship Yard during the WW2 time-frame. The teak is decking material that was never installed on a ship. You can tell it was meant for this purpose by the edge profile of the boards. I don't think this is what you're looking for but if you're interested PM me.

Tropical Exotic Hardwoods in Carlsbad CA has exactly what you want. Call Mitch, he can help you. Phil

A buddy of mine are headed there later this month to look at this ship wood. If you would like me to take pictures and send facts, I can do that.

I have some blanks I cut from decking that came off the USS Franklin when it was rebuilt after it took a beating in WWII. It was given to me by a friend, Ray Bailey, who survived the attack. More info about this carrier can be found online. I might be willing to trade a couple. I don't have a COA but I did turn several pens from it for Ray's shipmates per his request and I fully trust what he says.

I forgot to add, contact me via email if interested. I don't get around here often so a pm doesn't do much good.
