A Navy friend asked me to make these for him and they came out beautiful. They especially look great on the Gold Bolt Action Rifle pen by PSI. The image is a naval ships plank floor with the Naval anchor. You honestly can't tell its not real wood in the blank. These are tubed for Bolt Action but can be casted for almost any size tube. $13/blank plus shipping. PM me if interested...Thanks for looking

I find it hard to get a good clear view, of what the blank looks like. These pics are good and clear, but there's no real clear pics of the sides of the pen or blanks. To me, it looks as if the U.S.N. is surface mounted, but I can't tell for sure. If it is, how did you go about turning it? Would you have any better pics you could post, or even a bit of a story on how to turn one.

Len,
In real life this is a Chief Petty Officer rank and in real life the USN is surface mounted. To wear this device is very special and only 10 percent of the Navy ever achieve the rank of CPO. It looks to be a label cast, and one that is very well done in my opinion. As a former Navy Chief, I think it looks very sharp.

Absolutely, to the core

I wasn't a CPO but I was a Sailor and darn proud of it. How about "Once a Sailor always a Sailor"? If you ever make it out to Montana, look for the Dodge Ram 2500 with the license plate "NAVYDOC", that would be me. Go Navy!!!

Love the blanks.
