Nautical novelty pen

I bought this with my last PSI order just to check it out. People like this kind of stuff for gifts, so why not? It's actually pretty nice. Though the details on the clip are not well defined, the other parts are fine.

The blank was purchased from @benpens after the kit without thought of using them for this, but it paired up perfectly.

Darn it. I have a few of those that I bought on a whim and never used. I made a couple nautical blanks and used other kits and those would have worked great. Now I may have to just make one of my blanks for that kit after seeing yours. Just what I need another pen on the to do list. Nice pen thanks for showing.

Very nice! I made one of these for my nephew, when he was working on a fishing boat in the Bering Sea.

I've only ever done one inlay kit, and won't do another. Total pain in my arse.

Awesome pen Todd!! I have a son-in-law that's a Navy officer and a grandson also in the Navy...yes father and son. And for the moment both at Jacksonville FL. but dad's headed back to Whidbey Island NAS in WA next Feb.

I see making at least a couple of these in my future!

I made one for my boat-loving husband. It is his favorite of the five pens I have made him! And the one he puts in his pocket when we go out.
