Identifont is good.. so is

You can upload a photo of the font and it will search for fonts close to
it. If you have a good sample, it works surprisingly well.
Edit: I just tried it and came up with "Brush" in addition to the
Berthold Palette. Sometimes there's several names for fonts
(they can get repackaged) so if you find a font that's say $29.95
and you only need it once, sometimes you can find a free version
somewhere under another name.
I cut out part of the word 'Landscaping' and uploaded that. it tried
to identify some of the letters (poorly) But it asks you to confirm
or change them to correct it. Then it went and found three fonts
that matched in a few seconds. Try it out..
