My try at the Electra

Just picked up these kits the other day. I like them. I wasn't too sure about the Electra at first but it's grown on me. Both are chrome. First is Exotic's Merlins Magic. Second is a piece of York Gum burl.

It's just straight CA. No BLO. The light is diffused on the right side of the photo if that's what you're referring to

Is the cap on that magnetic or a "screw on", please?

And do they come in Fountain? Type of nib?

They are a screw on cap. They do come in fountains. As to the nib??? They are Berea kits so whatever the nib Berea typically sells. German Iridium.

Looks ok to me..the work you did is great, the kit itself I am undecided on. I have not used any of the kits with a completely built cap.

I'm curious about the plating. Where did you get just a Chrome version? It seems that my suppliers only have the Gold/Chrome combinations.

I get my kits from William Woodrite here in Ontario. They are Berea kits and I believe you can order them direct from them in Cleveland

That's exactly what I'm talking about. I noticed it on the chrome too so I figured it was a trick of the light but wasnt sure so I asked.
