I just finished this bowl, made from Bloodwood which my son bought me. It is VERY heavy, and turned quite well (especially for a novice).
The finish is just a few coats of thinned cellulose sanding sealer, followed with 3 or four coats of Liberon Fine Paste Wax, buffed by hand while it was on the lathe.
Your c & c are, as always, most welcome. One of these days, I will be a bowl turner!
