remember him.
this time for a retiring teacher. his first go at an acrylic. I took care of the cutting and drilling, once mounted on the lathe I let him loose.
he had me step in on a few occasions where he had chatter on the ends, said he was scared. can't blame him. he took it through all the sanding, MM, polish and assembly.

should also mention this is the teacher that runs the autism program. i'll imagine she will be impressed.
(sorry I didn't break out the light box)

He has done a very good job at it, indeed. Why not ask him to make more to improve on his skills. I'm sure with more practice, he'll be really great pretty soon.

Impressed!

O.K…. I'm thoroughly impressed. What a great young man and great effort! Awesome.

Update

Pen got delivered today and the report I got was, and a quote. "she loved it, she cried, but the were tears of joy, she said it was the nicest pen that she had ever seen in her life and she hugged me... Twice ".
