OK folks some you are aware that I work with the MS Society of Ottawa, That I sit on the Committee for the 175km bike tour Fundraiser each year. Bellow is my submission to the Silent Auction for this year.

They are a Flat Top Americiana Set of Roller ball and Fountain on the Eucalyptus burl. Displayed In the cool folding case that PSI is selling. I wish I had enough time to have had MS 2011 or something Laser Engraved but for next year I think I will. I tried for the first time the CA and BLO as per the directions set out in the library, I think i like this method also now. Especially for the Burls

The BOX if any of you are looking I think will hold up to a Barron or statesman kit easily, maybe even a El Grande kit.

Current bids from co workers are already at $90.00 Canadian from some co workers. I have promised to place the bid for them on Saturday when the bidding opens.

Not near the level of skill some of you guys can do but i think they are sharp and if the guys in the office are willing to pay 90.00 for the set I may just make a few more...

Thank you for looking feel free to leave comments.

Anyone got an idea what to expect for a final sale price? It'd cool to get 150.00 I think for the Charity from the set, am I realistic ??

If it were me, (and it isn't), I'd split them up.

Hold a separate auction for each pen. They should each bring in $100+ each!

I Thought about that but then I went and found that box and needed an excuse to get one to see what they look like for my stock. I got about 20.00 tied up in them.

I was hoping to do some singles also to add but the week is just not cooperating on time.

well I am the checkpoint coordinator for this 175 km road trip that participants raise pledges from. The event usually brings in about 300k for the Ottawa chapter. We have 9 check points along the 2 day route and I recruit the volunteers and locations and supplies as needed, Not that hard since many of the volunteers are like 15 or 18 yr returning veterans and the suppliers are typically more then willing to help. Anyhow, If anyone is interested in the Ottawa Area feel free to stop by the Kemptville College Campus Saturday check it out and if you drop me a PM i'll arrange it all for you happily.

Loads of fun bon fire, party in the gym with live band and bar and lots of silent auction items and draws.
