I know these photos are being posted extremely late.
For those of you that do not know I bought a house, did some major remodeling of it and the back yard, and built myself a shop all in about a two year period of time. many of the members here remember it. I posted pictures of the landscaping, remodeling even siding the house. But when it came to he shop, everyone heard a lot about it but I never did post pictures of it when it was finished. well here they are.
The exterior picture I took this morning. sorry for the pile of garbage I never seem to be able to get rid of it.
The interior has changed quite a bit since those pictures where taken. the center of the room is now full of a lathe and a table saw. there is a work bench across the back wall. a Dust collector in the back left corner and a long bench on the right side wall with the radial arm saw built into it. The left wall is still pretty much the same as it is in this photo. it is actually quite crowded now
I want to thank everyone here that sent notes of concern for me during this time. many of you thought I was pushing it to hard. and in fact you where right. I ended up with pneumonia and really burnt out for a while. many others helped me with some of the details in construction. you know who you are. Thanks

I forgot to add the two shop assistants are Rascal and Goliath. Goliath is the long haired one. These are the two "Small" dogs i told my kids they could get. They are actually brothers. they are also my shop security system and work very very well. yes they do have pit in them. as well as Chow Chow. Rascals favorite treat is rawhide which he bites through even when it is dry. strong jaws!

Hey Daniel, Doesn't look like you skimped on the sound system either! Looks great and I'm envious! Only thing I have that is better is my dog! Just kidding.

oh no, that inside set of pictures where taken when it was still being worked on. if you look close there are some outlet covers missing etc (look at ceiling over drill press)
You can hardly walk in there today. shelves cover the entire back wall. equipment all down the center of the room. got a couple of 2X4s laying int he middle of one walk way.
I'll go take another pic now that it is daylight. you will all be proud of me for knowing how to really take care of a shop. lol

Daniel

That is a nice shop. How big is it? I know when you were here in October you were working on it. You like my shop but your shop huge compared to mine. Do you have heat? must a little cold in Reno right now. Foggy and cold here.

Here are the inside photos today. Just a bit of explaining. I never have gotten all the inside cabinets and shelves done. the pictures from above was actually equipment I used to build the shop. the radial arm saw and drill press where both int he shop before the walls where covered. it was just a framed skeleton. I then moved all the stuff I had from a 24X24 foot garage into the shop. about the time I got that stuff all arranged I get an additional two truck loads of stuff. as you can see I have not made all that great of progress with those loads. I actually had to arrange stuff so that I could open both doors full open. with the addition of base cabinets, shelves and wall cabinets the shop will eventually get organized. at the present time I do not use the shop as much as I would like to simply because it is frustrating. little by little I am getting that problem resolved.

now, I got an idear to what to do with that sound system I bought way back when. SWMBO, says we don't have room for. I'm off to clean a spot in the garage, er shop..

Jim, Why do you think it looks the way it does? Actually those clubs are supposed to be at my dad's house. He is the only person I play with and usually he keeps them for me. I play maybe once or twice a year and every time I see may bag I have a different set of clubs. He keeps putting all the clubs he doesn't like in my bag. last time I played I was half way through a round before I realized I had three putters in there.

Tom, and Gary, I said you all would be proud of me. What could anyone know about woodworking if they don't even know how to properly decorate a shop?
