My second sale

A co-worker hired me to make a couple of pens and pencils for his son and daughter who are going to who are going to The University of Missouri.
He wanted me to use blanks that represent the school's colors, black and yellow/gold. I showed him a sample last week and he was really impressed. I think he and his children will like them.

Is that Woodcraft's "Lightning" blank? I made a Cigar pen for a gift to a young boy who got his Black Belt a few weeks ago, I love the look of those blanks. Nice Set...

I got the blanks from Arizona Sihlouette. It is the Berea Hardwood Acrylic Acetate blank (AA-14). It is similar to the Woodcraft one but it is a little harder to work with.

Paul I turned a very similar looking pen like that before, well the blank anyhow. Wondering if its the blanks from WoodWerks. Very nice job on them, I think they look great. I am sure they will like them very much, what a nice thing to have for starting school.
