Thanks Mbroberg, that was my first try at making that kind of segmented wood,still got a lot to learn,I think mike liked it,got to woork on them some more

Rodney's pen to me is really great. I haven't had a chance to take a photo of it yet but will post it when I do. He obviously spent a lot of time in the glue up. He also sent me 3 cast blanks that I can't wait to get turned into pens. Thanks Rodney for a job well done.

thanks tim,I need to build a photo box, but with cut backs in the military,my son is getting kicked out after 8 plus years, going to have 5 extra bodies to feed end of the month and a dog, living on disability does not help,at least i am alive and can turn a pen now and then,
