My PITH pen to Mr Vick

Here is the pen I made for Vick. It's from the root of a pine tree that was bblown over during Ike almost 3 years ago. The blanks was cast in blue alumilite to fill any voids, like you see around the nib.
After it was turned, sanding was a b**** because of the sap, but I finally got it smooth. Wiped with acetone followed by accelerator. Sealed it with 3 coats of thin CA followed by 3-4 coats of medium CA.
