My New Toy Arrived

My new Nova DVR XP was delivered this morning and now resides on my turning bench. I haven't turned on it yet but did fire it up and run it through the speeds, very smooth and quiet. I had heard complaints about speed changing with the up and down buttons being slow, but they are plenty fast for me. This is a real piece of machinery.

Sweet! Shop is WAY too clean though...looks like a lathe has never been in there. No shavings anywhere! Go make a mess will ya :biggrin:

However I should not talk, my shop is so messy I have given up trying to find the floor and am loosing sight of the ceiling.

you will enjoy that lathe, but you need to get covered in saw dust. defiantly wondering about the curtains?
