This is a Flat top Rollerball that I had problems with the brass tube. I had cut a chunk out of the brass tube while I was cutting the space for the center piece. I cut it a bit shorter but it doesnt seem to show much.

Is this one of those kits you have to notch the cap so the clip will be below the end of the kit... they are a pain for me.. don't see anything wrong with yours..

Well the chicken in the background is actually a stove cover I think I picked them up at Home Outfitters for about 4 bucks if ya would like some[]. Im not only new to turning but photography as well so I posted a second pick to try and get a better look at the grain.
Oh and yes this kit makes you cut out a notch of about 1/8 of an inch on the threaded part of the cap and thats where I ran into trouble.
