These are the 2 pens that I finished to-day .

They are both "custom" pens made from Angico Preto.

The first was made for my Doctor and started out as a Mont Blanc pen but customized by using the finial from a Slimline with a Medical Clip and the center band from a Parker twist pen .

The second is a Parker twist pen with a custom center band .

Guess where I got the center band for the Mont Blanc ????

Angico Preto, is that the wood? I never heard of it but it sure is pertty. []

Nice pens and a clever mix and match idea! Angico preto is from South America and is commonly referred to as Curupay. You see it a lot in hardwood floors.

Nice Doug! I like the profile of the Parker twist pen. I tend to make mine flat, but they always seem boring. I'll have to try one this way.
