Was commissioned to make some pens for a family.

Starting from the left:

1) a Caduceus wood inlay from Kallenshaan on a Sierra Click (BlkTi & TiGold)
2) a Jeff Powell Rotacrylic White Stallion (Alumilite) on a Vertex Click
3) a Jeff Powell Rotacrylic Guitar (Alumilite) on a Vertex Click
4) a Jeff Powell Rotacrylic Unicorn (Alumilite) on a Vertex Click
5) one of Ron's pink Abalone on a Gun Metal and Titanium Gold Zodiac

The daughter is a medical doctor and she gets the Caduceus. . The son is a professional musician and he gets the Guitar. . Don't know about the others. . The Caduceus is finished with multiple coats of thin CA. . The others are all finished with multiple applications of Novus 3, Novus 2, and PlastX polishes.

The picture looks a little better if you click on it to enlarge. . Sorry it is a tad overexposed.

I love the Rotocrylics--have sold quite a few. Had a lady request a Unicorn themed seam ripper--used that Unicorn blank and she was thrilled. I bought another one to put on an Atrax once the Christmas rush is done, plus his version of the Caduceus. I've also had good luck selling his dragon blanks on FPs.

Regards,
Michael

Thanks, Peter.

How do you make your hex blanks ... do you mill them ?

Mal when I first sighted Vertex kits it stimulated me to go hexagon with the blank I used. Your work using Vertex is outstanding, so precise and finished. Simply stated they are great.

Peter.
