I didn't want to hijack John's thread... loved his mushroom stopper...
here are a few that I've done and have in my booth... I like the "hidden" cork style..

I can't say yes and not have my nose grow.... I saw the hidden cork idea on a forum - maybe here - and liked the idea.... plus I was having people complain that the normal big metal cones were too tall to fit in the 'fridge.

I don't know of a tutorial anywhere, but it's a really simple process... I drill the blank with a forstner bit to a depth that will cover the silicon stopper part of the cork, I think I use a 1 1/8 or 1/14 drill bit - which ever will fit over the neck of the bottle and the mandrel body (I use the PSI bottle stopper mandrel), then drill inside the recess with a 3/8" that will take the bottle stopper mandrel and the dowel for the silicone stopper... then just thread onto the mandrel and turn... the shape is purely your imagination. I thought the mini goblets were appropriate for the wine bottles.

More and more wineries that import have gone to twist top bottles especially over here in the Philippines. Those are great bottle stoppers. I thing we will be seeing more and more of these types of stoppers.
