With soapstone. It took about 3 attempts but finally got a keeper. Not something I want to do everyday. :biggrin:

I looks to be polished silky smooth and must feel good to touch!
What was the toughest part? Drilling or turning? I know you must have filed the tube for the cap to just slide in with little pressure.

actually the drilling.I have never had a wobble problem before but with this I seem to have just that especially at both ends. No l did not file the tube just pressed it together.Thanks for looking.
