Hi everyone,
Now that the long winter is over and I've managed to work a path through the junk in my garage to the lathe, I'm finally able to turn again! The added incentive is that on Thursday I'll be leaving my team at work (after 4 1/2 years) to work on another project. I thought it would be nice to give each of them a lovely parting gift.
I made 8 Cigar pens (9 if you count the one I screwed up) using a Hybrid 18c kit. They are made from African Blackwood sanded to 1500 with 3 coats of Turner's Polish. I'll have to try the BLO/CA for the next batch to see what that is like.
Thanks,
Carlo Robazza
