While this is my very first pen kit it is not my first attempt at making saw dust.
My wife picked the style it is this Penn State kit https://www.pennstateind.com/store/crown-jewel-pen-kits.html
The part I added or actually the tree did is blood wood. Finish is 5 coats of Minwax wipe on poly a little 0000 steel wool and a cotton cloth with some auto body polishing compound.
Wife is happy and thinking about here next pen style ;)

Thanks you guys for all the nice action.
I think I have actually loaded my wife up with enough stuff from trees that she may actually let me keep some for other folks.
So far this year she got 2 bowls, 2 pens, a hall table and I fixed the lawn mower.
I think I am paid up for a little while 🤪

good looking Pen, at first the Lady fold will take one because you made it for them, them after the take all of them, if I was not making a pen for a special order and just for sale she took them all but she is not to bad she has let me keep one for myself, its is nice to know that they appreciate good work and she will be your biggest sales person.

Hi Pen Joe
Once in a while my wife and I go to a casino and invariably she will ask me for some more$$.
I always give her something. Often some lady sitting next to us when I hand her a few bucks says can I get some too? I say sure but you have to do for me what she does for me. This usually freezes the conversation and I get a big stare until I say make my supper, wash my clothes tell me my shirt does not go with those pants and slow down you are driving too fast.
So she can have all the pens she wants no questions asked. 👍🙃
