My First Kitless Pen

Man this took some time and effort but I finally finished. Definitely lots of room for improvement (cap could be shorter, section could be tad longer, could use some reverse paint on cap/body), but I'm just glad to get the first one finished. I used the 12m triple start tap/die for the cap/body, 9m tap/die for the section/body connection.

I used threaded delrin holders and collet chuck to finish turning the cap/body down to size but still experienced a lot of wobble and chatter (even with live center support on tail stock and sharp skew to do most of the turning).
