I like the combination you used with the wood and the kit. Honestly I think it would be better if you had used the barrel trimming kit on the cap and filled in the grain a bit better, but I've never tried that kind of wood so I don't know how it behaves. It still came out very nice and you should definitely be proud of it! I definitely don't mean any offense. It came out very nice. Was it that a Pau Ferro snakeskin blank from woodturningz?

Nope. Just like I posted it is Snakewood Brazilian Blackheart from Cook Woods
