I'm looking for critique. There's a few things that I'm already aware of (mistakes that I knew I made as soon as I made them). But I'd like to get you experts' take. Let me know if you want more pics, I'm not much of a photog. Thanks!

Very nicely done! Which kit did you use? I like the slim profile and matching diameter of the body and cap.

An option would to be to add some curvature to the body and cap vs a straight profile. I usually turn the blank down straight to about 0.10" larger than the bushings and then taper to the bushings to give a slight curve to the body and cap. I do like the straight profile on your's though. Just another option to explore.

It's the traditional 24kt gold kit from PSI. I usually do a curved body on other pens, but wanted to try a straight one this time. I have a couple more so I think will try that on the next one. Thanks Danny!

Nicely done. Can't see any problems that you referred to. The blank is really nice and the finish looks great to me. I too like the slim profile with that style pen. Thanks for sharing.

Like the other posts, I like the slim design on this pen. I've made a couple pens recently that you would think would be nice and light (i.e. the Princess pen and Faith pen) but they are actually pretty big and bulky and the weight is very heavy, that's according to my wife. This slim design will take that weight away and many users will find that an added bonus. Good job.

The mistakes I know I made might not be able to see in the pictures but there a couple of very small white spots in the CA and also when I first prepped the blank, I trimmed too on the clip end, I had to recut the notch for the clip and when you get a close look, you can definitely see it.

Nice looking pen! I too prefer the straight profile, it gives a nice clean look to the pen. One of the members here does a slight bevel on the cap only which I also started doing but on that particular kit I think the straight profile works best.
