Steve , you've outdone me ! That's a nice looking stopper . Our Walnut is darker than yours darn it ! I'm curious to know how many coats of Enduro you used on it ? Nice shape there too .

Truthfully, I don't remember. I think 3 or 4 coats of sanding sealer and 5 or 6 coats of gloss finish. If I have end grain showing I just keep coating till the grain is filled.

I have black walnut but you rarely see the lighter stuff around here it looks great I have turned down several wine stoppers and corkscrews. I live in an area known for wine and I have had a hard time selling them

Looks real nice Steve. I'll have to dig some of the English walnut out of my fire wood stack and have another look at it.
