A friend or mine owns a ranch that he rents for people to go and hunt deer. (There's a word for it but don't know it)
He gave me about 10 whole deer antlers. I have never ever worked with deer antler before. This is my very first attempt. So I had to pick which had suitable segments to make pen blanks. I cut them in my band saw, turned round, drilled and finally came up with this Chicago pen. I am very happy with the result, especially being my first attempt. I managed to get about a dozen pieces which may be usable for pen blanks.
Unfortunately here, my photographing skills are lame and I can not capture fully how this pen looks. I'm uploading three photos hoping one of them looks OK :(

Comments appreciated.

And my second deer antler

Thanks all for your kind words. Here is my second attempt, this time with a two barrel Sedona in Copper plating.
