My first cross-over to Toni's Dark Side

Made this pen for a Lepidopterist friend of ours. The pattern was the wings of one of her favorite butterflies. Made the cane from black and gold PC. This is my first attempt at making a cane.

I applied the canes all around the tube leaving a little space between them. Then pressed the canes to fill the space, distorting the canes to match the wing pattern. I messed up the first three tubes with my big fingers. LOML to the rescue!!! She got it right on the first try. When I first started working with PC, I got that look that every husband as received from his wife, YOU MUST BE CRAZY!!! Now, I think we have another convert to the Dark Side:bananen_smilies051:

Wonderful Pen, must admit, i have been flirting with the idea of PC, I know it's the dark side, but I look at the results... and think of the possibilities... I'll likely be there by year end.
