Here is my first pen made with corian....A satin vertex click pen.

the hardest part was drilling the 1/2"x1/2" blank.

There is one benefit to using a blank that size, not a lot to clean up when you get finished turning:biggrin:



Fit-n-finish seem to be 'dead-on'...nicely done!

That alone is impressive enough.

It's hard enough to drill 12mm Corian with a 7mm bit, but 3/8".

Great work on making that turn out! Corian is a great material, I just wish they'd make it thicker.

Nice pens!! They use to make corian 3/4 thick on special order and there is still some of the old stock still floating around out there.
