My first castings of pen blanks.

After watching grub32's video's on casting your own pen blanks, here is my first 2 made into pens.
Did not quite get the swirls right, but i will keep trying.

Will need to brush up on photography!!!

Dermot...they look great. I wish my first, second and even the third attempt had turned out that well.

I subscribe to the theory that there is no right or wrong amount of swirl and color and therefore they are all perfect!

Thanks Tony,
Glad you like the castings. I made some okay and some turned out plain. Try to wait as long as you can before mixing second colour. Wait till first colour starts to get thick, over here in Scotland with our heat it takes about 1 hour to 1hr 30mins. In Vagas it will gel quicker.
