Been procrastinating this for years, finally decided that it's now or never. Silmar 41

Cast in my cold 1-car pen studio, cured in the cool sunshine, turned 22 hours after the pour. What a rush!

Thank you to all of the people that have posted tutorials, videos and tips here, I read (and viewed) them all.:)

Thanks for all of the kind words. :) I used to think anything could be made into a pen, now a whole lot of other materials seem possible.

John, I can't wait for your demo at the MPG. Get ready for a groupie.

Chris:
I've found that cast blanks are much like people. Without looking deep inside, you may never realize the beauty that is underneath.

Sometimes that blank that is SO beautiful on this outside disappoints when you get down to what's buried deep inside.

That IS a beautiful job, and now you are hooked.

Good luck, you are well on your way.
