Wow, do I have catchy titles or WHAT!;)[:eek:)]

I tried my hand at a Burl today. That was an experience, but I think it turned out alright. Let me know what y'all think!
Also, I left off the bird today....sorry to all that was fond of it.;)
Both are Cigar 10k



Also turned this one up. If anyone can help with the wood type, please help.

I'd say Ipe as well... looks exactly like a staff I made out of the stuf... Was it hard as heck, and splintered a lot when you turned it? I made a pen, too, at one point.. it sure polishes up nice and the grain is very interlocked, lots of twist.
