This is the piece of BOW that I mentioned in another thread . It split on me during drilling and I had to open up the split and put in some "Hot Stuff" CA to fix it .
Luckily it held together , with a little TLC , during the rounding off process .
The wood is from Jim at "Woodpens" (thanks Jim) and the kit is a Berea Cigar from BB .

I'm sorry you had a split, but you did a nice recovery! That figure is really nice. If somebody doesn't buy that one real quick, you can always send it to me. [:D]

Ryan,
If you check out Jim's site , he has some very good pricing on BOW and he did say in another post that he'd knock off 10% for IAP members . This is the link to his site .

PS: He isn't paying me to say this , I was just very impressed with the wood that I received .

I just got some BOW from Jim and will try to get a pen from it tomorrow. I have some bowls to be done as payment for some logs so I figure I'd better get them done first.

Doug, the pen looks great. Like the others, I cannot see any signs of repair.
