My first 2 pens of the year

In fact other than my losing contest entry, these are my first pens in months. As always comments are welcome. The first is made of Apple wood that I got from a local orchard at pruning time a year ago last fall. The second is Redwood burl that I got in a blank swap quite some time ago. Both are sanded through 12000 MM and then have 4 coats of CA followed by HUT plastic polish.

The Red woodburl is beautiful. I may be a littl partial thought the pen I use is a Redwood burl Jr Gentlemans.
