My favorite pen (so far)

I used one of my own double dyed curly cottonwood blanks for this pen and stainless steel Apollo fountain pen. Photos don't really do this one justice. The chatoyance is absolutely out of this world. The lighting in my shop also made it look kinda wonky so I might redo the photos

Nice looking pen Kate. I can only image the Chatoyance that would be visible with the pen-in-hand which the camera cannot capture.

I can imagine the chatoyance as I've done quite a few in curly maple. The colors are great. The finish is fantastic. Beautiful work!

Beautiful pen. The color is amazing. I bet it is stunning in person.
I have LED shop lights and they are of course made up of lots of tiny lights. When I first installed them, I thought there were radial scratches in my finish, then realized it was the lights.
