My daughter got married on the 17th! Let me tell you, you don't know busy until your daughter ties the knot. I think the only thing we outsourced was the catering and the cake. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I had to finish a box, some pens for her a couple of the administrators at the college she graduated from the week BEFORE the wedding, and make some pens for signing the guestbook.
Guestbook + pens, which are Chrome Jr. Gents in Plum Fun (purple) and Blue Isis (blue). When I took this photo, I was more focusing on the guestbook than the pens.
The blue pen in use. You can see its cap with a custom finial.
The box, made from knotty pine, with hand cut dovetails. I got a lot of good comments about the box.
