My (clean) Shop

So after many years of a messy shop, I had a pro come in and clean it. The first thing he said was "this is going to take a while". But he got it done.

Nice! But in my shop, it would last twenty minutes before the tornado comes in and turns the place upside down again [] And I would think "why did i pay for this?"

I'm with you, Gary. The last time I cleaned mine up, it lasted all of 30 seconds.

I saw the pics and thought that the shop looked nice and clean, only to realize I was looking at the BEFORE pics ... oh well []

The last time I tried to clean the shop, I got about halfway and got really bored, so I decided to fire up the lathe. Never did finish cleaning, so now the clean half looks just like the un-clean half.

Heck, My main hobby is cleaning the garage.

Secondary hobby is actually producing anything....

I cleaned mine once, no wait twice. And I even tried to keep it clean...lasted about a week.

Problem is I have two. The garage is where I keep the big wood mess, and the cellar where the lathe is. That means I spend twice the amount of time cleaning.[B)]

You seriously hired someone to clean the shop? Just go ahead and hire them to run the lathe and you can avoid the sawdust altogether. []

Keeping mine clean is getting to be a chore. I just gave Corain a try today [] That stuff makes a mess, dang skew was flinging that stuff all over the place! I seriously think it's time for a DC in the shop. I can not stand to work in a mess, the last thing I want to do is to slip on a chunk of cut off pen blank while turning on the lathe.
